Ainsley’s Fantastic Flavours will take your tastebuds on a journey exploring the most exciting flavours from a range of global cuisines. Joining Ainsley are a host of famous faces bringing their own delights into the kitchen and he has some chef friends out and about to see what’s on offer at UK street food markets, all celebrating the Fantastic Flavours the world has to offer.
In this second series Ainsley works his magic and shares some mouth-watering recipes with you from Chicken Torsh, a traditional sweet & sour Persian kebab to the Big Ains - a smash burger with all the trimmings. Sound good? There are many, many more! On top of that Lisa Snowdon, Ruby Bhogal and Shivi Ramoutar visit UK markets discovering the secret behind the best fried chicken, Jollof Rice and cardamon buns, there’s a masterclass in chillis and so many other delicious treats, add in celebrity guests taking over the kitchen to cook something special and we’ve got a full menu for you. We will take you on a journey from the Middle East, passing through North America, stopping by the Med, journeying on to North and West Africa, sampling treats from Mexico, heading through Asia and ending in the Caribbean. There is something for everyone! Series one summary… Ainsley explores fantastic flavour with each episode themed on spices, fruity & floral flavours, herbs, meat, nuts, cheese and sweet treats. Think Pea and Mint Soup served with Crispy Pancetta to Fragrant Chicken Kebabs with Saffron, Cardamon and Rosewater Rice! Chef Thuy Pham, April Jackson, Sam Holland, Paul A Young & Aldo Zilli are out and about meeting some fantastic producers and creating some wonderful dishes.
