In this one-off special, Ainsley Harriott delivers a mouth-watering menu to celebrate the King’s coronation, with guests Spencer Matthews, Ruby Bhogal, Georgia Toffolo and drinks expert Jilly Goolden.
Chef Ainsley Harriott is back in the kitchen, this time for a right Royal knees-up! Ahead of the historic coronation of King Charles III, he’ll be cooking a special menu of celebratory dishes that will see us through the long weekend, from garden gatherings to street parties. He’ll be kicking things off with a classic: coronation kebabs, served with spiced Jersey Royals and a juicy mango salad. Joining him in the kitchen, TV star, podcaster and entrepreneur Spencer Matthews will be tucking into a showstopping rose harissa and goat’s cheese bread crown, served with a jewelled goat’s cheese dip. Baker Ruby Bhogal pops in to serve up a slice of her delicious cardamom and raspberry cake with a whipped coconut cream. And writer and tv star Georgia Toffolo is treated to Ainsley’s celebration berry and white chocolate mousse, with meringue shards. There’s not an empty glass in sight, either; no celebration is complete without a carefully curated selection of drinks and expert Jilly Goolden delivers the perfect pairing for every dish.
